PORTLAND, Ore. — It's officially spring time in Portland, making it the perfect time to see the blooming cherry blossoms around the Rose City. They are currently in peak bloom and a colorful sight!

However, in 2022 it was actually ranked one of the top 14 destinations for cherry blossoms in the world by Trips to Discover.In fact, two Oregon cities made it on the list—Portland and Salem!

Paths inside the park are lined with colorful cherry blossoms that are already at peak bloom. The cherry blossoms will be illuminated with Japanese lanterns from 6-10 p.m. each night through March 31.

Cherry blossom season is one of Portland’s best transition points. When those little pink and white buds start popping out all over town, everyone knows our deep, dark winter is finally over.
