The upstart Saudi-backed golf league that sent shockwaves through professional golf four years ago announced a new broadcast rights deal Thursday with Fox Sports.

Added Jordan Bazant, evp of Fox Sports, “Fox Sports is excited to broadcast the LIV Golf League, showcasing athletes at the top of their game competing at an elite level for viewers across the nation. The addition of LIV Golf is a natural fit for Fox Sports’ prominent slate of big events, world-class names and premium sports coverage.”

The agreement marks the first time the startup league will air on a major sports TV network in the U.S. since its inception in 2022.

Fox Sports has signed a multi-year media rights agreement with LIV Golf to broadcast its league competition in the U.S. starting next month, the network announced on Thursday.

Jupiter's Brooks Koepka said joining with FOX Sports is a "huge win" for the golf league that remains in competition with the PGA Tour for the interests of golf fans. LIV Golf and the PGA Tour are in ongoing negotiations to combine commercial businesses and rights into a new for-profit company.

FOX Sports and LIV Golf announced on Thursday that LIV Golf will air the 2025 season on the network with some rounds on FOX Business and FS2.

LIV Golf has reached a multi-year broadcast agreement with Fox Sports, which will air each of the three rounds live in the U.S. on one of its network's channels and streaming app starting this season.
