Yesterday being the anniversary of the late President LINCOLN'S birthday, quite a number of ladies and gentlemen visited Oak Ridge Cemetery for the purpose of decorating the tomb of Mr. LINCOLN.

178 pictures of Lincoln’s Tomb — including the unearthing of his coffin — and dozens of photos related to Lincoln’s assassination, funeral and the execution of the plot’s conspirators.

The Lincoln Tomb in Springfield will be open for visitors from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday. Lincoln, his wife and three of their children were laid to rest in the tomb.
