The Horseshoe Bay terminal, which opened in 1951, is one of B.C. Ferries’ busiest terminals, providing service to destinations including Nanaimo, Bowen Island and the Sunshine Coast.

The Queen of Coquitlam experienced a mechanical issue around 1 p.m. and as a result, some sailings between Langdale (Sunshine Coast) - Horseshoe Bay (Vancouver) were cancelled.
