A suspect dressed in black was swarmed by the Secret Service on Monday after attempting to scale the security fence around the White House.

Dramatic video captured Secret Service agents tackling a man to the ground outside the White House after he climbed the fence on the South Grounds.

Secret Service took a man into custody outside of the White House Monday afternoon after he scaled an outer fence on the South Grounds.

A man was taken into custody by law enforcement officials after attempting to scale the White House South Lawn fence on Monday, February 3, officials said. In a statement sent to Storyful, the US Secret Service said officers responded at 4:20 pm to an individual climbing an outer fence along the South Grounds of the White House.
