Ongoing security preparations for Saturday's military parade near the National Mall caused new headaches for drivers in rush hour traffic days earlier.

To make way for the U.S. Army’s 250th Birthday parade, D.C. is putting some road closures and parking restrictions into place.

In addition to the roads that will be closed for the parade route itself, there will be some transit adjustments and some parking restrictions.

Thousands of people flocked to Washington, D.C., Saturday to celebrate the LGBTQIA community at the WorldPride Parade. Elaborate floats, performers and community advocates traveled the 1.8-mile parade route.
