The University of Arizona apologized after a portion of the team’s fanbase sang an “unacceptable chant” directed towards Brigham Young University (BYU) following the Wildcats’ men’s basketball team’s defeat at the hands of the Cougars on Saturday.
BYU shot 55.4% from the field and hit 14 of 31 3-pointers (45.2%), with guard Richie Saunders leading the way with 23 points.
