Former Formula 1 racing driver and 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Jochen Mass passed away on Sunday, May 4th, from complications following a stroke in February of this year. The German racer was 78 years old and, up until his stroke, still an active member of the motorsports community, attending and participating in race events.

Jason O’Halloran secured victory at the Le Mans 24-hour race aboard the YART Yamaha R1, alongside Karel Hannika and Marvin Fritz. O’Halloran’s win came on debut at the famous French circuit, where the team also picked up 63 out of 65 points.
