The Brewers are in hamburger heaven. The team picked up its 12th straight win on Wednesday in a 12-5 victory over the Pirates, securing free burgers for the entire state of Wisconsin from local chain George Webb and putting the Brewers on the cusp of tying a franchise record for consecutive wins.

What's better than winning 12 games in a row? Winning burgers for your entire city. The Brewers just won free hamburgers for all of Milwaukee thanks to their 12-game winning streak, which reached the magic dozen on Wednesday.

The restaurant chain made a pact years ago to hand out free eats if the Brewers won 12 games in a row, which they did last week.

The Brewers came to close to winning free burgers earlier this season when they had an 11-game winning streak from July 6 to July 21, but lost the 12th game 1–0 to the Mariners. They have won free burgers for fans twice, in 1987 and 2018.

Andrew Fischer, the Milwaukee Brewers' first-round draft pick in 2025, made his first appearance in pro baseball and made it count Aug. 14.

Berroa was claimed off waivers from the Dodgers in July and is hitting .243 with a .671 OPS between his stops in the minor leagues this year. In seven games for Class AAA Nashville, Berroa is 4 for 24.
