The PGA Tour made official what Golfweek reported earlier this week — that the 2025 Genesis Invitational will head down I-405 from its usual home at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades to Torrey Pines (South Course) in La Jolla, near San Diego.

Jason Day and Charley Hoffman were among the PGA Tour pros who would be fans of the PGA Tour moving next month's Genesis to Torrey Pines, a move that several outlets say is likely.

The PGA Tour announced on Friday that the Genesis Invitational will be moved from the Riviera Country Club to Torrey Pines on Feb. 13-16.

The field for this week's Farmers Insurance Open includes six past champions, including two players who have won twice at Torrey Pines.
