Ex- Rutgers star Ace Bailey hasn’t reported to his new team, the Utah Jazz, as of Friday morning. Bailey was chosen by the Jazz with the No. 5 pick in Wednesday’s NBA Draft though it was not his “preferred destination.”

The NBA now has not one but two new players from Rutgers University. The school is in full celebration mode after guard Dylan Harper was selected No. 2 overall by the San Antonio Spurs and forward Ace Bailey was taken three picks later by the Utah Jazz during the first round of the draft on Wednesday night.

Could Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper serve as assistant GMs for Rutgers basketball, writing big checks for the roster? It's a growing trend in the NBA.
