One person is dead after being trapped in a fire in a large floor-plan house in Naperville, Illinois Tuesday afternoon. A second person was injured. Around 3:15 p.m., Naperville firefighters were called to the house at 3519 Redwing Ct., just west of Route 59 and north of 103rd Street, and not far from Scullen Middle School.

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - A fire erupted at a home in Naperville on Tuesday afternoon. SkyFOX captured footage of smoke billowing from the home around 4:10 p.m. Authorities have not yet released details on possible injuries or the extent of the damage.

According to the fire department, crews got the fire under control just after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. Officials deemed the home uninhabitable, resulting in the displacement of five people. The estimated damage is projected to be over $800,000. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
