Hours after the official end of the No Kings protest in Los Angeles, protesters were ordered to leave as skirmishes broke out with Los Angeles police. Around the intersection of Temple and Main streets,
Dozens of mayors from across the Los Angeles region banded together to demand that the Trump administration stop the stepped-up immigration raids that have spread fear across their cities and sparked protests across the U.
The suspects have been identified as 41-year-old Rolando Guardado (Booking No. 7033848), and 45-year-old Madeline Fresia Rivas (Booking No. 7033869), both residents of Palmdale. Guardado and Rivas are being held without bail.
Thousands of demonstrators chanted “ICE out of L.A.” on the sixth day of protests against the Trump administration’s immigration raids.
