A fifth person has died as a result of the Legionnaires’ disease outbreak in Harlem, which has sickened more than 100, health officials said.

A fifth person has died amid Central Harlem's legionnaires' disease outbreak, New York City health officials said, as they continue to investigate the cluster.

Dozens of people sickened in Central Harlem Legionnaires’ outbreak are planning lawsuits. A handful of law firms have been retained to represent some of the people who became ill or died in the worst cluster since 2015.
