Top-seeded Jannik Sinner is still looking for his first French Open victory and inched closer with a straight-set victory over the legendary Novak Djokovic in the semifinal. With the victory, Sinner advanced to the French Open final for the first time in his career.

Coming into Roland Garros this year, the 21-year-old made back-to-back finals in Madrid and Rome. The two runners-up finishes also propelled Gauff to World No. 2, equaling her highest ranking in the WTA charts.

Sinner has only been pushed to one tiebreaker — in Friday’s semifinal win against Novak Djokovic — and is on a 20-match winning streak in Grand Slam tournaments, after winning the U.S. Open and the Australian Open.
