MANCHESTER, Conn. — Connecticut State Police said a woman is dead after a car crashed into a tree in Mansfield Tuesday. The crash happened at 3:08 p.m. on Chaffeeville Road at the intersection with Bousa Road in Mansfield, state police said. The road was closed for several hours during an investigation but was reopened as of 8 p.m.
