GM recalls 62,500 Chevrolet Silverados over brake fire risk, urges owners to park outside
The recall affects certain 2019-2024 Chevrolet Silverado 4500HD, 5500HD and 6500HD medium-duty vehicles. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the brake pressure sensor assembly may leak brake fluid into the brake pressure switch, causing an electrical short circuit.
Chevy Silverado 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD workhorses need to be parked outside until GM fixes their brakes.
