Events to mark Armed Forces Day have taken place across the south of England. The annual occasion, which is held on the last Saturday in June, is a culmination of a week that the army say is a chance to show support for the Armed Forces community.

Scarborough's Armed Forces Day celebrations will be from 11am to 5pm and promise to be a 'spectacular' mix of air displays, military parades, impressive line up of vintage vehicles as well as plenty of activities for the whole family.
