There are only a few weeks until the NBA draft and the start of free agency, and intrigue is steadily building about what the Houston Rockets might do this offseason. The Rockets mostly control their own fate when it comes to the current roster,

The New York Knicks are in the midst of an intense head coaching search after they let go of Tom Thibodeau following their Eastern Conference Finals exit.

There will be no shortage of candidates. Colleague Sam Quinn made the case for seven candidates that could be in the running, starting with recently fired Denver Nuggets coach Michael Malone. But the Knicks may also have some interest in coaches who are already employed with other teams, and I'm not talking about assistants.
