Phillip Wagner, a husband and father of three, is being remembered by the Lorain police department for his "dedication, professionalism, and compassion."

A Lorain Police Department spokesperson told 3News that plans for a funeral are still being developed, and a date has not yet been set.

There are numerous ways community members may continue to pay their respects to fallen Ofc. Phillip Wagner, and show support for injured officers Peter Gale and Brent Payne who were also shot in the ambush.
