My best guess would be to take a train from Dover to London. The train system was so comprehensive there I would be shocked it there were not a good train option for you, and …

My best guess would be to take a train from Dover to London. The train system was so comprehensive there I would be shocked it there were not a good train option for you, and affordable. Once you get into London use the free phone app Citymapper to get around. You just type in where you want to go and it gives you options for busses, walking, the tube, etc. Sorry I don't know more specifics about Dover. I don't think you will have a problem.
