Hi Deb, They have all types of trails here at Horsetooth from easy to strenuous. You might want to stop at the trails just east of the main entrance by the boat launch. They have some of the best trail maps I have seen for any park in the main visitors lot describing the trails, length, and difficulty. You can go there first and then decide if you want to head back to the other parking lot by lake. Just make sure to pay the $6.00 fee and don't leave any valuables in the open. Have fun!
Q:
Are any of the trails stroller friendly? We have a nice jogging stroller with decent tires.
A:
Not recommended. Check out the paths at City Park, Spring Creek Trail, or Poudre River trail. It's the foothills -- baby mountains.
