Hi Grace, I think that 3 days would be enough to explore the park. We had 3 days and managed to squeeze in Pilliga Forest as well. You cannot do every hike in 3 days, but can certainly do a number of hikes. Have a read of my thread on the Warrumbungles forum to see what we managed to do, if you haven't done it already. Feb is usually the hottest month and Coonabarabran will often get above 30 deg C, so it will be HOT. So it depends on how well prepared you are, what your camping equipment etc is like and how well you manage in above 30 temps. Personally I wouldn't but if Feb is the only time you can go then it will need some planning, walk early etc plenty to drink, the usual stuff.
Where is the best place to stay for the Warrum bungles NP, we are not equipped for camping
A:
I can't answer that as we camp and Blackman campsite is for camping . The visitors Centre are very helpful and should be able to assist, try phoning them.
