the road is closed in the winter. Its about a 2 mile hike in. I would advise not trying to hike in. If a problem occurs your're a long way from help
If you continue to drive once you enter the lot, continue to drive basically right up to them. There is a restoom near the bottom and it's just a few steps from there to the bottom viewing area.
