Is that a four wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicle? If you plan to stay overnight & do all the activities, it's worth the trip & it does take the best part of a day from Mount Isa. You won't be able to get in in the wet season I don't think.
I am interested to know what the road conditions are like into Lawn Hill. Has anyone travelled in using a conventional 2WD? Have they towed a caravan in? Alternatively has anyone left their van at the hotel? Would really appreciate some info on this to help us plan for a trip next year.
A:
You can get picked up & dropped off from Mount Isa; ask at the Information Centre there.
