Iron Post is a census-designated place in Mayes County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 117 at the 2000 census, but had declined to 92 in 2010, a loss of more than 21 percent. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.7 square miles, all land.
