Hanga Kioe is a stand-alone moai. Since it's located in the camping grounds within town limits you can visit it for free without a guide any time. Ahu Tahai is within walking distance.Full review by Ron S

Located just north of Tahai, Hanga Kioe offers an incredible view of the sea and the rocks. One will find a platform with a single Moai. Not very crowded and certainly worth considering. Full review by 716sachink
