Our beautiful Mid-Century Deckhouse is centrally located on Mount Desert Island, central to Acadia National Park’s sightseeing, hiking, and biking, and a short drive to anywhere else on the island. Explore the whole island easily while you’re here. Sitting on an acre of land, just outside historic Somesville, you’ll enjoy peeks of Sargent Mountain through the trees from our large deck and fire pit. Inside, you’ll find all new furniture, decor, and a fully stocked kitchen. As you enter the house through the foyer, you will access the main level by walking up 5 stairs into the great room with a 75” TV, two couches, lots of sitting room, and 4 large glass doors that provide access to the deck and glimpses of Sargent Mountain in the distance. Have your coffee on the porch, and watch the sunrise from our east-facing deck as the deer munch on our native plants below. Off of the open and airy living room, you will find the kitchen with all the tools needed to make a family dinner.
