Thanks for asking, Coal Creek has unmade roads and the access to attractions/buildings is steps etc. as it is an old town. There is a modern reception area with toilets etc. but the rest is old town. It is a replica of the old mining town that was in the area. We thought it was well worth seeing as there are authentic settings and collections displayed. We loved it and so did the kids. Maybe a good wheelchair with a strong push, it would certainly be wonderful to trigger memories - it did for us and were not that old, ha! I hope this is helpful.
