Great hike to the beach. It's a long hike so bring lots of water and comfortable shoes!! Watch out for snakes on trails. Cool place to camp also!!Full review by G2099LIvictoriar

Is one allowed to drive a vehicle down sycamore canyon road?
A:
If you had the gate combinations. The ranchers in the valley and fire department drives it but have gates and locks.

Is there a place to park a horse trailer to pick up horses that started on the opposite side in Newberry Park???

Yes. There is a large parking lot.
